Easter Part 2

So after our busy morning and naptime we headed over to my Dad and Stepmom's house. They made a wonderful Easter dinner! We met up with some of Addison and Isabel's cousins and had yet another egg hunt.

Isn't she beautiful?!

Let the finding of the eggs begin.

My Dad lives on a huge hill and it is perfect for rolling down. My Stepmom, Carol, and stepsister, Jessie, are showing us how it is done. Awesome job ladies :)

Easter 2011 Part 1

Easter is such a busy day for us. First thing on the list is to check out what the Easter Bunny had brought! The Easter Bunny had heard that YiaYia(my beautiful mom) was going to make my girls a garden. He thought it would be a fabulous idea to bring some gardening tools. A rake, shovel, broom, pail, watering can, gloves and a few small hand held tools. He also wanted to add a few more things like movies, toys for church play, pajamas, hair accessories and of course CANDY!

2 seconds later...notice candy already in the mouth.

Isabel "watering" her basket

She was a little unsure as to what to do.

Next it was to my brother's house to see YiaYia and have an Easter egg hunt. My wonderful brother, Matt, and my fabulous sister-in-law, Jina cooked us such a delicious breakfast. I forgot to take a picture but they made everything! I was so happy it was my cheat day and cheat I did indeed. Yummy!

Checking out what YiaYia got them.

Trying on Jackson's Easter present.

Isabel loves her Jax so much! She won't stop calling his name when he is around.

Next, was the Easter egg hunt. Me, Allison(my I couldn't live without her sister) and Jina all brought candy filled eggs and my awesome brother-in-law Brad went and threw them all over the yard.

And they're off!!

After this we were off to church. Matt and I worked the 1 to 2 1/2 year old nursury during service and to say we were exhausted by the end is an understatement. Then from there we headed home for a nap. I will have another post about the rest of our Easter soon.

***Notice all the compliments? It is because I have an AWESOME family!!! :)***

The Coloring of the Eggs

So, I have a confession. I was really dreading dying eggs with the girls. The mess, the choas, the stinky eggs... I was just not looking foward to it, but I am so glad we did. The girls had so much fun and so did I.

Addison loves all things pink. Eggs are no exception.

I am surprised Isabel's eggs didn't end up black. She kept mixing the dyes.

Patiently waiting on the eggs.

Harleigh-Grace checking on the progress.

So pretty

Time to decorate with stickers!

decisions...decisions...

Silly girl

Who needs eggs?

H.G. and my sister, Allison.

Addison and Me.

Isabel getting a little help from Daddy.

The finished products!

Look at how much fun we would have missed out on! SO GLAD we did it!
